Meals and meal timings

A delectable spread of vegetarian and non vegetarian food is served at all the lodges. Breakfast is the combination of variety and choices from the varied cuisine and is usually served in the park, during the safari itself. Lunch and dinner is Indian & continental cuisine. Pure vegetarian and other special food requests are taken care of on prior information. Allergies: If you are allergic to any food items, kindly inform at the time of the booking.

Internet

All our lodges have basic internet connection. Our offices in the lodges have an extra computer which can be used free of cost for emailing. Internet may not be reliable at all times as breakdowns take time to fix as we are remotely located.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at the common areas of the lodge.

Card Payment

The most commonly cards used are Visa and MasterCard. Its advised to carry enough local currency to make purchases as internet facility in remote areas can be unreliable. We suggest settling the lodge payments in advance before arrival with the reservation office.

Tipping

We request guests to refrain from tipping any individual staff at the lodge. Incase you wish to show appreciation in the form of tipping, tip boxes have been placed in the offices in the lodges.
This tip is shared on a monthly basis amongst all the staff, many of which work behind the scenes to make your stay a comfortable one but perhaps you do not come across them.
Please note that naturalists, nature guides and drivers are not a part of this tipping and may be tipped directly. We do not charge a service fees. Tipping itself and the amount is entirely at your discretion.

Our pets are a crucial part of the family and most of the time we do not wish to leave them behind as we head off for vacations. We at Jungle Camps India understand and respect this that is why 2 out of 4 of our lodges are pet friendly - Pench Jungle Camp & Kanha Jungle Camp.

• Only legally permitted animals that do not feature in the list of animals that can be kept as pets can join us for the vacations. Mainly cats, dogs and birds. This does not include any exotic or wild animals.
• Prior booking of the pets so the lodge is prepared for them. Do check with the reservation team for the accommodations in which pets are allowed.
• A one time non refundable room cleaning fee of INR 3000 is charged. Additionally, the pet owner may be charged incase of any damages or excessive cleaning required due to the pet.
• Not more than 1 pet is allowed per room.
• Pets are not allowed in the common areas of the lodge such as recreational areas, spa, food and beverage venues and the swimming pool.
• The pet needs to be house trained, well groomed, free from ticks and fleas.
• The guests must carry the pet’s beds, leash / carrier and food with them.
• The pet should be either in a carrier or on the leash at all times when outside the room. It should not be left unattended at any time. The pet owner is responsible for the appropriate disposal of the litter during the stay at the lodge.
• Guests are requested to refrain from using the food from the buffet for their pet’s meals.
• The guest beds and room furnitures are meant for the use of guests alone.
• The pet owner must be present during all housekeeping services in the room. The guests can contact the front desk to arrange for a mutually convenient room servicing time.
• The lodge and the lodge employees will not be responsible for taking care of the pets.
• Pet parents are fully responsible and incur liabilities incase of any property damage or any injury inflicted by their pets to staff member or the guests of the resort.
• The lodge is not liable for any injuries suffered by the pet on its premises.
• We reserve the right to break the contract with the guests if any of the rules stated in the policy are not adhered to or if the pet is loud, aggressive and unmanageable.
